"Art Without Borders"
(a youth art/screening workshop of animated films from around the world)
Casa Hogar Sion orphanage, located in a "less developed" part of the city of Tijuana, Mexico only 30 minutes across the U.S. Otay Mesa boarder. They provide shelter, education and hope to the children in Tijuana. They strive to be more of a home "un hogar" than an orphanage. The children are provided a safe and happy learning environment for each child to grow into an exemplary member of a compassionaty and civil society. Their continuing survival depends on volunteer help and donations.
Supplies that are in constant need are:
Baby needs: Diapers (all sizes), diaper cream, powder, wipes, baby oil
School supplies: Pencils, crayons, art supplies, boks in Spanish and English
Misc.: Cleaning supplies, batteries, underwear (all sizes), towels
